This huge bundle of recycling activities is perfect for your budding environmentalists and/or for celebrating Earth Day! This printable activity packet includes the following:
Printables to create a dramatic play recycling center, by making recycling bins out of cereal boxes- Cut out the printable bins. There is a template for trash, paper, metal, plastic, compost, and glass. These are designed to fit the average cereal box (maximum of 12 in height).*NOTE* Not all cereal boxes are the same size.You can change the printer margins to print a height of 12 inches, if set on borderless letter paper.With borders, the height is about 10 3/4 in.You may have to trim down the length if it is too long. Once assembled, use the images and sort each item into the correct bin.
A sorting trash and recyclables activity (smaller version of the dramatic play printables). I make this even more interactive and fun by laminating and adding velcro.
